The problem

The store needed a coherent French customer experience while Shopify still separated theme source strings from the translations displayed publicly.

The solution

I configured French as the storefront default, published native translations across theme and navigation resources, removed unnecessary language switching, and refined the merchandising hierarchy.

Keep source content stable and publish French through Shopify’s native translation resources.
